Our Journey
L’Ignoto was founded on a common dream of a few friends with a shared passion to create the absolute finest expression of Tuscan wines. They come from different sides of the world. Nonetheless, they share a love of the land and a commitment to honor it. Their quest started by sourcing fruit from the most coveted parcels of land in Radda in Chianti and the hills of Montalcino.

Our Land
For over 6 years, we have been sourcing the majority of our fruit from an idyllic vineyard in the heart of Radda in Chianti. in 2021, we were granted the opportunity to purchase the vineyard. The picturesque steeply sloped vineyard sits at 500 meters with perfect southern facing slopes. The rocky soil made up of Galestro and Alberessi help our site yield some of the best and most complex Sangiovese fruit in the region.
